When posting to the Internet-2 Mailing list, please try to follow these Posting Guidelines:

1. When REPLYING to a message, keep in mind that it will go back to the list for everyone to see. If you want to make a private reply, please FORWARD your reply to an explicit address.

2. Please strip all unneeded quotations from your reply before sending.

3. Please set your mailer to send "text only" e-mail and turn off html encoding. This will make life easier for those of us who use text based e-mail.

4. When replying to a particular subject, please maintain the subject line so the archiver can properly thread your message. If you change the subject, please also change the subject line. It will make it easier to find a message.

5. Attachements are discouraged. If you want to post a document or an image, try to put it on a webserver and send the URL instead. If you don't have a webserver, I can set you up with access to one.
